Omokoroa Country Club
Aquaholics was engaged by Omokoroa Country Club to install the new civil infrastructure drainage for both Stage 1 and Stage 2.
- Stormwater: Works included 1000mm diameter pipe down banks to a 3m diameter energy dissipation chamber before dispersing into the wetland. New Hynds UpFlo filters were installed to filter all site stormwater. Stormwater reticulation ranged from 1050mm RCCRJ concrete to 300mm concrete across the site, utilizing multiple manholes ranging from 1050mm to 3m in diameter, with some manholes weighing over 15T.
- Sewer: We established a WBOPDC 225mm sewer connection at the boundary. The site plan includes three sewer pump stations; under Stage 2, we installed the first pump station and associated 140mm PE rising mains. We successfully fitted out and commissioned pump station 1, with gravity sewer reticulation completed using PVC and rotomolded manholes.
- Water: Reticulation is provided via a 100mm boundary connection with a new RPZ and meter setup. Main reticulation and rider mains consist of 125mm and 63mm PE pipe. The network includes multiple hydrants and sluice valves, with 20mm mains for each house equipped with isolation valves and check meters. All pipework was pressure tested and chlorine dosed per IDC requirements.
Jace Stage 5
We completed the drainage scope for our valued client, MPAC, at the new Jace 5 coolstore. The civil drainage scope included installing 525mm RCRRJ concrete pipe down to 100mm PVC at depths of 4.5m, with connections to the TCC stormwater network.
This involved multiple site connections, downpipes, and cesspits throughout the site. Additionally, we installed a new 100mm domestic water connection for ablutions and hose taps, along with a new 100mm connection for the onsite refrigeration system.
The sewer was connected to the TCC lateral at the boundary and run under the building to service all tundishes and ablutions.
Tauranga City Library: Community Hub
Aquaholics was engaged by LT McGuinness for the civil drainage portion of the new library and community center. This complex project involved relaying existing TCC stormwater assets in footpaths around multiple live services, including HV power and Metro Fire, while working closely with Council and BECA.
The scope included new sewer connections in Willow Street, a new 150mm fire main connection, and a 63mm domestic water connection. Works also included channel drains, undercover lids, and connections to new downpipes and multiple cesspits.
